An intuitive healer is someone who, allegedly, can heal and teach others to heal without the
bother of evidence-based medicine. Intuitive healers use "insight" to diagnose illness and are
also known as medical intuitive or psychic healers.
Intuitive:
Intuition is a right brain process that taps into subconscious information in order to provide
guidance about everyday life. Being intuitive means that you able to tap into subconscious
information in order to receive guidance about your every day life. Intuition can be used to
receive guidance about your own life (personal intuition) or to help other people (professional
intuition). People who are intuitive are not necessarily psychic. Being intuitive is about receiving
guidance to make better decisions in your life, and helping guide others in theirs.
Psychic:
Being psychic, also know as being clairvoyant, means that you can perceive information that
cannot be perceived through the normal senses (also called Extra Sensory Perception – ESP).
That can include predicting the future, talking to non-physical beings (dead people, spirits) and
being able to sense missing objects or people. Being psychic is about sensing information that
other people can’t usually access.
Medium:
A medium is a psychic who has fine-tuned his or her extrasensory perception and can interface
with the spirits in other dimensions. They are able to feel and/or hear thoughts, voices or mental
impressions from the spirit world. A medium is able to become completely receptive to the
higher frequency or energies on which spirit people vibrate.
Empath:
Empath means that you feel other people’s emotions as your own. For example, if someone
around you is very angry you might start to feel angry yourself, even though there is no direct
reason for you to feel this way. According to Wikipedia, “observing another person’s emotional
state activates parts of the neuronal network involved in processing that same state in one,
whether it is disgust, touch, or pain”. Empaths have the ability to scan another’s energy for
thoughts, feelings and possibly for past, present, and future life occurrences.
Intuitive Energy Healing is based on various types of alternative healing methods:
Intuitive Healing Practitioner
Intuitive healing is an alternative practice that relies on the use of
the five senses to locate and correct imbalances in the energy flow within the body. Sometimes
referred to as insight healing, the practice does not require any type of invasive procedure.
Visualization and focused thinking are often key components in the intuitive healing process.
With the assistance of the practitioner, the patient is helped to visualize the blockage and slowly
begin to break that blockage down. This may be accomplished by envisioning that the blockage
is being dismantled piece by piece, or that the blockage is subjected to healing light and slowly
begins to melt away. Whatever the imagery used, the end result is the energy path is clear of
any obstruction once again, and the body will soon be back in balance.
Ho’omanamai’ola
Is a Hawaiian Ancient energy healing technique for stress, dis-ease,
reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and
is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to
be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and
if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. The word Ho’omanamai’ola is
made of three Hawaiian words – Ho’o which means “God’s wisdom or the Higher Power” and
Mana which is ‘life force energy’. So Ho’omanamai’ola is actually “spiritually guided life force
energy.” A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you.
Ho’omanamai’ola treats the whole person including the body, emotions, mind and spirit creating
many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feeling of peace, security and well-being.
Energy Healing (Aura and Chakra Healing)
This is one of the most profound and fundamental alternative therapies in the
field of alternative medicine and holistic health. It employs spiritual healing methods which
expand the awareness of the energy healer and uses energy, color and light healing techniques to
catalyze healing in the patient’s energy field (aura and charka system) – helping the patient’s
break free from afflictions and limitations of body, mind and spirit. It may provide enhanced
quality of life for the patient, and facilitate spiritual growth. Energy healing is often a powerful
spiritual path for the practitioner, as well
CCNBA CELLULAR MOLECULAR Energy Healing
CCNBA Energy Healing is one of the newest – yet one
of the most comprehensive – of the energy healing arts in the world today. Energy healing is
based upon the premise that illness or affliction in the body, emotions, mind and spirit has as its
ultimate cause defects in the higher energy field surrounding the body. This energy field is
composed of the seven charkas and the seven layers of aura. This energy field is the higher
“pattern” which mirrors conditions in the body, emotions, mind and spirit of each person – and
must be itself healed, for true physical, emotional and psychological/spiritual healing to take
place. Healing the Deeper essence of the Heart, Soul, Mind, Body and Spirit...
LA’AU KAHEA Distance Healing
Energy healing can be accomplished at a distance just as easily as in person. La’au Kahea
Medicine Spiritual Prayer is the simplest form of distance healing, and it has been demonstrated
that prayer is effective in facilitating healing. An energy healer can sense the energy field of the
person receiving the healing and provide healing equally effectively if the person is in the same
room or across the world. Many have had the experience of a kind of telepathic connection with
someone else in which one senses what is happening with the other person. An energy healer
doing distance healing’s can sense the presence of the healee and affect the healer’s energy field
through this same kind of “sensing”

Expectations of a La'au Lapa’au Practitioner, Patient, Client
Journey to Healing Mind, Body, Spirit and Soul
Hoolohe – to listen with the entire body, soul and spirit
Hoomakaukau – to be prepared
Hoomaikai Akahai – respect for all protocols
Hoolauna I Ka Mea Maikai – to be of service to all humanity
Hoomanawanui – patience in all things
Lapa‘au is medical practice. So, lā‘au lapa‘au is a medical practice which specializes in
using plant-based medicines.
One of my many requirements of the service that I perform is Hoomaikai Akahai (respect for all
protocols). One of these protocols is the manner in which we gather La'au. We consider plants
as living entities with innate intelligence. We approach the La'au with the person in mind that we
are assisting. We kneel before the herb in a specific manner and ask permission from Ke Akua
and the La'au to harvest. After harvesting (if granted permission), as with Kupuna (Elders), we
never turn our backs to the plant – out of respect we back away with gratitude and thanks.
There are some instances where the patient is given specific protocols to gather their own
medicine. Often, a specific journey becomes part of this process. The journeys, the gathering,
pule (prayer), meditation, preparation of the La'au – all this becomes part of the deep healing of
this person. This is just one of many examples of “80 percent spiritual” healing.
Lā‘au lapa‘au is a traditional medical practice, as defined by the World Health Organization:
“Traditional Medicine is the sum total of the knowledge, skills, and practices based on the
theories, beliefs, and experiences indigenous to different cultures, whether explicable or not,
used in the maintenance of health as well as in the prevention, diagnosis, improvement or
treatment of physical and mental illness.”
Lā‘au, in this context, means medicine. The larger meaning is trees and plants. So, yes, lā‘au
lapa‘au is herbal medicine..
